Ship Repairs

The quick and effective response and absolute reliability in the maintenance of the ships are the basic objectives for MTC SUR.

Our company has a large number of qualified and motivated employees, working for the main companies of the naval industry. We have extensive experience in the repair of ships of any type. In addition, our strategic location allows us to give a quick response to our customers.

We can work directly under the directives of a service engineer or a superintendent delegated by the customer for a specific service such as revising a main engine for example, or complete turnkey projects. In this case we are able to organize, coordinate and supervise all relevant services, such as painting, electrical assistance, carpentry & insulation, HVAC, turbo chargers and intercooler revisions, etc.

Being a proactive company, we are also interested in special projects out of the normal tracks. We are at your disposal to try to find a practical solution to your problem, reducing to a minimum operative down times and loss of efficiency. without reducing compromising the operation of your project.

• Steel works: Repairs on board ships, repairing structural damages, whether on decks, outer hull, stiffeners, tanks, cargo area, accommodation area, etc.; working either carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminum.

• Piping: Repair or manufacturing new and replacement of damaged pipes. We have worked with carbon steel, stainless steel and CuNiFe pipes

• Mechanics: Revision engines, gensets or any other mechanical equipment like gearboxes, winches, pumps, valves…

• Hydraulics: Revision of hydraulic equipment, cylinders, motors, piping, hoses and controls.

• Manufacturing of steel structures and new buildings: In our workshop we can manufacture all kinds of steel structures or blocks. In these, equipment supplied by the Customer can be installed, and if so required, later on mounted and connected on board or in a factory.
  In terms of new buildings, we can build ships up to 20 m in length. Here we adapt ourselves entirely to the requirements of the Client, and we propose optimized solutions in view of the anticipated operations. Larger structures are also possible.
